This is a game I read about. I don't remember where-sorry! There are 26 letter cards and 4 Buzz cards. The cards are embellished with Carson Dellosa stickers and die cuts. One students takes the stack of flashcards. He/she names the letter, the letter sound, a word that starts with the letter, or all three. The player continues to flip through the stack until the Buzz card comes up. Then the player buzzes around the group, sits down, and passes the cards to the next player.
These are pointers I made with dowels from Home Depot. My husband cut them in half. I then used hot glue, ribbon, googly eyes, and ink to embellish them. The students will use them for Reading the Room, reading our Morning Message and Shared Reading book, and during calendar.
I got this idea from my friend Jess. We use Everday Calendar Counts for our Math Program in Kindergarten. Each day we add a paper clip to count our 180 days of school. This is portable so it doesn't take up as much wall space. It is made from foam board. There are 18 mug hooks to hold groups of ten paper clips. In the upper right hand corner there are three more hooks. Each hook will have the digits 0-9 on rings to show how many clips there are.
This is the Tooth Fairy I made using Paper Doll Dress Up to go with my lost tooth chart. I am running out of wall space for stuff so I am posting them on the back of the bathroom door.
My friend Jess went to a workshop and got the idea to make a magnetic ten frame using small circular magnets and cookie sheets. We use them in kindergarten to help students understand place value and addition/subtraction. So I liked the idea and made the blue and orange one with some scraps. I used 3/4" magnets with foam tape already adhered and cut the circles from Plantin Schoolbook. My nephew liked it and wanted one. I was giving it as a birthday present so I wanted to make it cuter than just dots. His favorite colors are yellow and orange. So I used yellow and orange Mickey Ears from the Mickey Font cartridge cut at 1 inch. I shadowed them to give the ears a little more strength. So then my daughter so the Mickey ones and wanted those instead of the circle one I had made her. She found the glitter paper in my stash and decided to use that for hers.

Classroom Door Wreath
This is a door wreath that I scraplifted from Nilda on the Cricut website. I used the Joys of the Season cartridge for the base of the wreath. The rest of the decorations are from Locker Talk. I plan on hanging it in my classroom's exterior door. I posted this on the Cricut website and got mentioned in their Chirp! newsletter. I also made one for my sister in law's first grade classroom.
Hello friends and family. I have created this blog to organize my creations for school and scrapbooking. I will post completed projects I have made for my friends, family, self, and kindergarten classroom.
