Happy Veteran's Day

Students will follow teacher directions to assemble this soldier.  Our predictable chart will be "A soldier . . ."  Students will unscramble their sentence and glue it under the soldier.

Where is the turkey?

This pocket chart will be used during calendar to reinforce number recognition.  You can't really see it in the picture, but each card has a numeral from 1 to 30 in the lower right hand corner.  The turkey will hide in the leaves and the students will guess where he is each day.
