Who took the shamrock from the leprechaun?

I adapted the idea for this game from www.childcareland.com. I used felt to make a shamrock bean bag.

Pot of Gold Number Practice

Students will help Liam the Leprechaun collect his gold coins using this felt board activity. The gold will be put in the pot in numerical order.

Leprechaun, where did you hide your gold?

After reviewing position words, students will create their own leprechaun using a photo as the head. In the speech bubble, the students will write where the gold is hidden.

The Foot Book

After reading The Foot Book, students will play a matching game with opposites.

One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish

We will be doing an author study of Dr. Seuss. The red, yellow, and blue fish will be used for sorting and an addition worksheet. The students will use crayon resist to draw fish in the fishbowl and then write a sentence.

Conjunction Junction

I made these train cars for a friend at school. His third graders are learning how to combine sentences with conjunctions. They will use sentence strips with sentences, and then they will use the comma car and conjunction car to make a new sentence.

Snowman Surprise

Madison made this snowman out of kindling. She created it completely by herself while I was trying to take a nap. Then she painted it and we added details with the hot glue gun. It is for my mom for her birthday.
