Twinchies

This was our second swap. We decided to do Twinchies after seeing so many cute ones on the web. I asked Nikki to do blues and browns. She asked for turquoise. Our swaps are great because we try to use supplies on hand. We also try things we may not have otherwise done.

Calendar

I made labels for each of the pieces of our calendar unit. The C is from Speaking of School and the rest of the letters are from Mickey Font. They are each outlined with red marker and the shadow is in black.

Popcorn Words

Our sight words are called Popcorn Words because they are words that pop up in our reading. The letters are made from Plantin Schoolbook with a shadow. Again, the paper is from Walmart. It is a nice weight and cheap! The popcorns are diecuts from Learning Trend I believe. They come in a smaller size that I use for small group work.

Birthdays

I love these fishbowls. I gave Madison the choice of bugs and jars, cupcakes and candles or fishbowls. I am so glad she choose the fishbowls. They are adorable. The paper is from Walmart and I love the the way the yellow and blue look together.

Dismissal Chart

Dismissal is a busy time. The kids frequently change their schedules throughout the year so I wanted something I could update easily. I used pocket charts in read and blue from the Dollar Spot at Target. The buses are from Doodlecharms in blackout. The sneaker and the head are from Paperdolls.

Welcome Every Birdy

I saw this cute quote somewhere and decided I had to use it. I just love these birdies in blue and brown. They are popping up everywhere so I decided I have to put them on my door.

Color Words

I used the Mickey Font to make the color words to hang in the classroom. The kids like them.
